DataRay offers annual recalibration on all Beam'R/BeamMap series and BeamScope-P5/P7/P8 products. Contact DataRay or your local distributor for current recalibration pricing.
Beam'R/Beam'R2, BeamMap/BeamMap2: Annual recalibration is offered but is not considered necessary unless the head has been subject to physical abuse. The only moving part is the puck on a stepper motor. The ball bearing motor is good for 5 years continuous operation. The calibration is held in an EEPROM in the head. Puck replacement and recalibration is also available.
BeamScope-P5/P7/P8: The linear probe mechanism does wear with intensive use, therefore annual recalibration is recommended for instruments used regularly in production test. Beam Profiling Cameras: No calibration is required; calibration is intrinsic to the software and the chip photolithography. Calibration is offered based on measurements with a projected grid.

Fill out the form, print it out, keep a copy for your records and include a copy with the shipment. Not providing the paperwork will result in delays.

Include all system items so that we can test them as a system and perform any upgrades as a system. Pack it properly. Mark the RMA # on the outside of the shipping box & on any packing list attached to the outside of the shipping box.

Calibration Turnaround Time: Target is 4 to 10 business days. Faster by prior agreement. If the calibration charge is not covered by a provided PO, calibration will await receipt of the PO/credit card information.
