If any Windows version gives you PC installation or reboot problems, before calling, please perform the following, in this order:
- Check that your PC meets the Minimum PC Requirements.
- If you are running Windows 7, Vista or XP, check that your installed DataRay software is up to date.
- Check that your Windows Operating system Service Pack is current and updated.
To check the current OS and Service Pack (SP) revision, at the desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon, select Properties, General. Refer to Microsoft Support to check SP availability and for updates.
Avoid conflicts with your organization's IT department mandates. Check with them before upgrading Windows.

If you have a problem with Windows versions earlier than XP SP3, our recommendation is that you upgrade to Windows 7, Vista or XP SP3 if your DataRay product is supported by these operating systems.
NOTE: Our hardware will NOT work in Windows 7's Windows XP Mode with Virtual PC.
